Maya is now off the bottle. She was only on it for 4 days. She now eats kibble that I soften with water. By day 5, she was completely litter box trained. Daniel and I are just amazed at how smart and how far she has come since Monday. When we took her to the vet on Tuesday, he told us that she had a 50/50 chance of making it. We are so happy with her. She plays and grooms herself too.

Bailey is very gentle with Maya. Bailey thinks that Maya is her baby. Each time after I bottle fed Maya, Bailey would groom her for me. Bailey is also very protective of Maya. Bailey does not like the other cats or Teddy to get near her. Every time she sees Maya, she starts licking her face. It is just too cute. What a viscious Pit Bull we have!
Maya, our baby
Here is a picture of our new addition, Maya. Her mother, a feral cat, left her to die. When my neighbor found her on Monday morning, she was weak and her eyes were sealed shut due to an eye infection. Well, after bottle feeding her and taking her to the vet, Maya is doing great! We love her and her crazy antics. Daniel picked out her name. We think that she is abouut 3 weeks old.

When Mommy's In The Shower......
Ok, so here's my favorite puppy picture of Bailey. While I was in the shower, she decided to unzip/rip open one of our pillows from our couch. Needless to say, there was stuffing everywhere in the living room. She also had to pull of the blankets that were covering the pillows. Quite the smart dog! She is so smart, she always waits until I am in the shower before she gets into trouble. I put all of the stuffing back in the pillow and Daniel sewed it back up! So, a big thank you to Mom for teaching Daniel how to sew!
Daniel's Discovery
Ok, so this is something that Daniel just told me about that I never knew. Do you ever go to tear off a piece of aluminum foil and the whole roll comes out with it? This always happens to me. Well, if you look on both sides of your aluminum foil boxes, there are tabs that you are supposed to punch in. They hold the roll in place! I never knew this! They are also on Saran Wrap boxes too. Did any of you know about this? Just curious!
